Hiking
In Hoogstraten, there is a Dokter Versmissenstraat with a memorial. The plaque at the beginning of the street was created by sculptor Jef Martens and was originally part of a bench that stood in the Heilig Bloedpark (Heilig Bloedpark). This memorial, in honor of the centenary of his birth, was an initiative in 1979 of the non-profit organization Flemish Tourist Association, Hoogstraten branch. The book "Anthology from the work of Hendrik Versmissen" was also published by the VTB secretariat.[3]
