Tips
Alternative ascent along the bike path SB4 from Beilstein / Schmidhausen up to K2092 to Löwenstein or Stocksberg and Prevorst. In contrast to the road through Etzlenswenden or directly up to Prevor there is almost no traffic here. But you climb here a few meters more and the roads are not very great. However, not as bad as Komoot thinks: Allegedly, the path leads at the end about 2 km unpaved road. This is not the case anymore, the whole way is paved. High, the route is therefore in any case in order. Down I would take the better and less winding country roads.
