Pico da Barrosa is one of the main elevations on São Miguel Island, with almost 1000 meters of altitude. It is the highest point in the Serra de Água de Pau, and from here you can admire both Lagoa do Fogo and much of the island.

I think the best view point on Lagoa do Fogo is from the Pico da Barrosa itself. You will need to walk the final bit to enjoy a completely unspoiled view over this magnificent scenery. I have put the pin exactly to the spot for easy reference.
