The popular Naturbadeweiher with its two lakes invites you to cool off and then sunbathe on the natural gravel beach. And since swimming usually makes you hungry, a little refreshment in the nearby Gasthaus Josephsthal with a beer garden is almost perfect.

The local lake Dießfurt is mostly called Josephsthal by the locals. This is also the name of the Grafenwoehrer district, which is very close. There is also a restaurant of the same name and a wildlife enclosure with deer, peacocks, pigeons, wild boar and other animals. The lakes are a great tip for an evening stroll, as the sun shines into the evening. You can also watch great sunsets and take pictures. The only drawback is that you now have to be careful not to fall into any holes and you have to overcome sand hills.

Very beautiful lake for water sports e.g. Suitable for SUP and rubber dinghy. Unfortunately little shade.
