At this point, the cycle path runs alongside the "Obere Drebber." This is a drainage ditch, also known as a canal.
Only the source area of the Obere Drebber (approximately 20% of its total length) remains as an original, albeit modified, watercourse. The remaining approximately 80% of its total length is man-made. Because of this predominant proportion, the Obere Drebber has been designated as an "artificial watercourse."
