A narrow trail leads in a zigzag, as well as up and down along the upper part of the Rotbach in the truest sense of stick and stone. Fallen trees, smaller streams and some other impassibilities are also to overcome or to curve. The section is very demanding and certainly not for personal best, but as close to nature as it is with a minimum of routing only. Sure-footedness (especially in the case of moisture) is absolutely necessary!
