In written sources, the church in the village of Ves is mentioned in 1556. Here we are talking about a wooden church, the predecessor of the existing one. The stone, two-story, five-domed church was built at the expense of parishioners; the lower tier is warm, with an altar - in honor of the Archangel Michael, built in 1769, and the upper - cold, with an altar - in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, built in 1817. The main volume was connected to the bell tower by means of a small refectory. In the 19th century, the temple was surrounded by a church fence, and a gatehouse was also built.
