We were denied entry by a guard who claimed that only pedestrians were allowed from June to September.
The gate did indeed have a clear sign indicating private property and no trespassing, but no date was given.
It's a shame, since not only does the road pass through a very beautiful area, but it's also part of the Silent Way.
We were forced to turn back and continue along the busy main road.
