As we pass along the EN236, we almost miss the presence of Casal Novo. The village is located at the bend of the slope, on a steep slope, facing north, and the tree-covered surroundings of the village do not allow us to understand its profile.

Two or three perpendicular alleys and a few side entrances into spaces for public enjoyment break the continuum of buildings that, on one side and the other, straddle each other.
