Reminiscent of the 17th century baroque hall church - the west tower contains remains of the medieval tower - are the paintings on the wooden barrel vault of the church and the Noeske organ.
The ceiling paintings were painted by Christian Wilhelm Tischbein from 1774 on wood and depict scenes from the Bible. Among them is also a portrait of Luther.
