The park near Dutchman Creek and Livesay Spring — originally known as Jug Spring — is a nice camping spot for thru-hikers on the River to River Trail, or an interesting side trip for day hikers. The spring flows out of a cave that's deliberately blocked off for safety's sake, and is (re)named for Darrel Livesay, the man who opened the River to River Trail in this area.
