The monument to the composer A.A. Alyabyev was unveiled on August 19, 2023. It was created by Evgeny Shevchenko, a young Moscow sculptor and member of the Moscow Union of Artists. In the first quarter of the 19th century, the future composer often visited his father's estate in the western part of the Volokolamsk district, which was located in the village of Nikolskoye. The monument features a statue of a nightingale. It is possible that the song of this bird inspired the composer to create his most famous work, the romance "The Nightingale".
