HL Canyon Trail #11 follows the rocky course of Sardine Creek, connecting with Sardine Saddle Trail and Pinal Trail near the base of Mitchell Peak. This stretch offers expansive views of the Blue Range mountains, with golden corydalis and fleabane blooming along the way. Toward the lower canyon, you can pick up Pigeon Loop Trail #301, which climbs through shaded pine and maple forest if you're looking for an extended hike to enjoy this beautiful area.
