From here, heading south, it's much more beautiful than on California 1 (known as Big Sur).
The wind mostly blows from the northwest, so you'll have a tailwind almost the entire way. The road runs north to south from 400 meters above sea level down to sea level, with increasingly less incline.
This road is a delight!
A stop at the "Taverna Under the Trees" is recommended.
