Former Protestant elementary school. Construction began in 1873.
The central wing and right wing of this typical Wilhelminian schoolhouse were inaugurated in 1874. The left wing was added as early as 1876. In 1905, a shortage of school space forced the city to build a two-class school barracks in the area of today's parking deck, which burned down in 1950. In 1961, the Protestant elementary school moved to the Lehbeschschule.
Since 1988, the building has been used as the town hall.
