Heinfels Castle is an extensive hilltop castle complex above Heinfels in East Tyrol. The strategically well-located fortification at 1,130 m above sea level is a striking landmark of the eastern Puster Valley. From the castle, one enjoys a sweeping view up and down the Drau River, as well as into the Tyrolean Gail Valley, which flows opposite.
