"Tatar Grobla" is a historical name associated with the presence of Tatars in the vicinity of Oświęcim.
Where did the name Tatar Grobel Street come from?
The story is connected to the route to the market in Kamieniec, which the inhabitants of Monowice and Włosienica used. They were customarily called Tatars.

Everything indicates that the trail leads even further, to their neighbors across the Vistula River – Żarki. After the Polish invasion in 1241, the Tatars are said to have settled there.

About their connections with the Chrzanów region and the origins of the cabani.

Are you referring to "cabanów"? It supposedly comes from nomadic sheepherders from Asia,
who were called that. They supposedly settled near Chrzanów, and this
    influenced the name "Caban" :-)

It's possible that some of the settlers chose locations on the right bank of the Vistula for their homes. This would explain why the inhabitants of Monowice and Włosienica were called Tatars.

The word "caban" or "czaban" itself comes from nomadic shepherds from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia. The term "chaban" or "caban" still exists in these countries and refers to a free shepherd, a nomadic shepherd.

Currently, "caban" is often humorously referred to as "caban" for all the inhabitants of Chrzanów, and the most famous regional dish is considered to be "caban potatoes."
