A deep crevice that opens after about 20m in a larger open-topped cave. Even in the sunshine, a lamp is helpful. To get to the entrance, the water channel (Tagliata Etruscha) at the bottom of the stairs at the historic quarry must be crossed (wooden beams and rope are permanently installed).
The entrance to the cave is located in the back corner of the quarry which is also used as a climbing garden.
If you climb the stairs up the cliffs you can also look from above into the crevice and the Etruscan Waaserkanal. The view from there is terrific.
