Tucked along the Lumbercamp Segment of the Ice Age Trail, the Hillbilly Hilton is a quirky, sod-roofed bunkhouse that is an old root cellar at Norem Lumbercamp. It's a rustic shelter with wooden bunks, a table, and odds and ends left by passing hikers. Resembling a Hobbit house in the woods, it's a beloved oddity for thru-hikers looking for a lovely overnight stay or a spot to take a long break away from the elements.
