Point Lookout State Park is an over 1,000 acre park at the southernmost tip of a peninsula formed by the confluence of Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River. The park has picnic areas, overnight camping, and several Civil War historical remains.

This is also the southern terminus of the Potomac Heritage Trail.
