Hiking
The Segeberg Beautification Association had this shelter built for spa guests in 1905. It is popularly known as the "Negro Hut". It was damaged or destroyed by arson, lightning strikes or storms and had to be repaired or rebuilt several times.

Hiking
When the wind is mostly from the west, the sailing boats get a lot of speed just off Spitzenort.
The water is very shallow there, however.
On this side on the steep western bank, there is no wind.
