From the hill there is a beautiful view of the Acropolis, and at night this view is even more beautiful. The hill is very easy to get to, i.e. from the last bus stop we go left through the barrier, then slightly up and after passing the church we turn right a little uphill and after walking about 200 m we have the hill on the right. It is worth getting there to look at the Acropolis and not only.

The Pnyx is not only an Athenian vantage point, as in ancient times, Athenian orators delivered their speeches here, and it was also the site of Ecclesia meetings, democratic popular assemblies that deliberated on matters of vital importance to the city.

The former splendor of the place is lost today, simply because of the absence of modern interference. You can visit and learn more about how and what has been preserved on the information boards.
