Forsthaus Sylvan

In the middle of the Spessart Nature Park - in the Weihersgrund - the Forsthaus invites you to linger in absolute peace and wonderful air. Hikers and mountain bikers like to fortify themselves here with home-style cooking. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Weihersgrund, a settlement-free and untouched valley section.

Open all year round (except company holidays)

Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m
November 1st to March 31st
Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m
(Wednesday catering on request for groups of 15 or more people)

A really nice tour to the hut over the rooty Josefsteig... DAV hut by the way... Nice service and good food!

Great excursion destination and DAV hut in a fantastic setting... the service runs like clockwork... friendly and quick... the typical crowds of drivers are not to be found at the excursion destination... here you have to do something yourself to be here...
