Morriscastle Beach is close to the quaint village of Kilmuckridge, which is one of the most popular resorts in South East Ireland. The long sandy beach is ideal for relaxing walks, and you will also find many secluded bays on the beach where you can have cozy picnics with your family. You can also take a stroll down to Newtown from the beach, visiting Ballteigue Bog and bird-abundant Fodagh along the way.
