Road cycling
challenging but rewarding climb. Departure from Susa (500 m above sea level), initial steady climb up to Novalesa (820 m), then deviation to the left towards the town of Moncenisio (1,450 m) along the SP 212: asphalt road, little traffic, in fair condition but with ruined sections. Average gradient of 10% (a long stretch with an average of 11% and frequent climbs over 14-15%). Tight bends and very beautiful shaded passages. After the town of Moncenisio, continue on SP 212 up to Lake Ferrera. Continuing, the road rejoins the state road for the Pass.
