Chickamauga Dam Beach is a small, laid-back spot tucked along the Tennessee River just below Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga. It’s part of the larger Chickamauga Dam Day Use Area, managed by the TVA, and offers a sandy shoreline with calm water that’s great for wading, paddling, or cooling off on a hot day. There are picnic tables, grassy areas, and nearby restrooms, making it an easy stop for families or cyclists riding the adjacent Riverwalk. While it’s not a sprawling beach, it’s a convenient and relaxing place to take a break with river views and easy access to the water.
