The trail usually ends here, forcing you to turn back. Very little water is needed to attempt a crossing.
Nevertheless, it's worth stopping to experience the peace and quiet of this valley.

Hiking

The Wehebach reservoir is a lovely place to walk from Großhau or Kleinhau. In the lower section, you pass a beaver dam with a covered viewpoint. The view of the reservoir is beautiful. Sometimes you can walk all the way to the bridge where the Weberbach stream flows into the reservoir. When the reservoir is high, the bridge is submerged. It was once part of the Schevenhütten road that led from Kleinhau to Schevenhütte. Today, the road is submerged in the reservoir.
