Skjortfjellet is the first of three major summits visited on the marvellous hike between Grytbakksetra to Hardbakkhytta. At 787 metres (2,582 ft) it's the lower of the three, with Dyrstolen, at 930 metres (3,051 ft) being the tallest and the highest point of the whole Fjordruta long-distance trail. The ridge that connects these summits forms the border between Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag.
