    If you see a downed tree just beyond this junction, recommend turning around here or going on the trail back to parking lot. As of June 2025, the outer loop trail is barely rideable due to downed trees and debris. went about 1 mile West from this point and had to lift bike over a couple dozen trees, the next connector trail to the West is completely gone. Also, lots of debris in trail so if you decide you're looking for Type 2 fun, in addition to downed trees, there are lots of large branches hiding under the overgrown that could easily catch a pedal or wheel. Last, there are tons of snags West of here and blown out sections of trail from erosion
