A tract in the Kirzhach district of the Vladimir region of Russia. Currently, the following are located on this site: the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called, built in 1825 in the classical style, the memorial complex "Place of the Death of Yu. A. Gagarin and V. S. Seregin" and a guest house at the memorial.
St. Andrew's Church is being restored with the direct participation of cosmonauts led by A. A. Leonov. Part of the paintings inside the church were made according to a sketch by A. A. Leonov himself, therefore, under the dome next to Christ and St. Andrew the First-Called, a parade of planets and a spaceship are depicted, on the walls - the patron saints of the first cosmonaut squad. On the restored bell tower, a belfry with 9 bells is installed, according to the number of cosmonauts who died in the history of space flights, and each bell bears the name of one of them.
