Opened in 1999 as an extension of the original Parc Central designed by Nicolau Rubió i Tudurí in 1943, this spacious and peaceful urban park is ideal for a break en route. It features drinking fountains, shaded benches, and green areas for resting. It's a good place to refill your water bottle and recover. It's easily accessible by bike, with wide, paved paths. It houses the Torre Montcada (a modernist house). A recommended stop on routes through Mataró or connecting with the coast.
