Schweinsberg Tower

If you have the 114 steps in the tower up to the top, you have a wonderful view over the countryside.From 1874 to 1883 was on the pig mountain a wooden, pyramid-shaped observation tower of Heilbronn beautification club. In 1886, the beautification club built about 80 m west of the summit at 367 m altitude, the 21 m high Schweinsberg Tower (♁⊙), which was aligned in its historicist-picturesque architecture of the medieval castles of the surrounding area and is now a listed building. About 160 m northeast of the mountain summit stands since 1954 the telecommunications tower Heilbronn (♁⊙) of Deutsche Telekom AG.
