Open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, this site features several miles of hiking trails across 425 acres along the scenic St. Croix River. Visitors can enjoy excellent opportunities for birdwatching and nature observation in various habitats, including restored prairies, deep ravines, river bluffs, and both pine and deciduous forests. Admission is free, though there’s a small fee for programs. Additionally, an environmentally friendly apple orchard on-site offers apples for sale during the season. The location provides year-round recreation and environmental education opportunities.
