Hiking
Badgers are nocturnal and very shy. During the day, they hide in their underground burrows (setts). Sightings are rare, but traces such as earth mounds, burial sites, or dung latrines along the roadside indicate their presence.
The area is a natural badger territory, although direct encounters are usually only possible at dusk or at night.
