Hays Falls drops about 20 meters into a peaceful forest. The best time to visit the falls is when the flow is strongest, which is in spring or after rain, when Hays Brook is flowing best. There is a refreshing swimming hole right near the falls, perfect for hot summer days. In winter, the falls freeze completely over.
