Through the efforts of priest Karolis Gumbaragis, a parish was established in 1941, and in 1943 a new church was built, adapting the old chapel building. After 1966, the church was restored and painted under the care of priest Jonas Kardelis.
The church is in the shape of a traditional residential house, rectangular in plan, single-towered, single-nave. The building has a bell tower, a three-walled apse, and an attached sacristy. The front facade is oriented to the southwest. The main entrance is located in the front of the building, through a glazed veranda. The churchyard is surrounded by a stone fence with iron gates.
