Located just north of the charming village of Caromb, this tranquil reservoir sits at the foot of the majestic Mont Ventoux, forming a key part of the Mont-Ventoux Regional Nature Park. Hiking

A quiet place for a nice swim, to sit with your feet in the water or just to cool off during hot days. Lac Du Paty is unknown to many tourists, so it is actually always quite quiet there. Even on Sundays you often have plenty of places to choose from.

There are excellent parking spaces at the lake and higher up. The small restaurant is a great place for a drink, a snack, pizza or an ice cream. Please note that you can only pay by cash.

What are the parking options at Lac du Paty, and how busy do they get?

Excellent parking spaces are available both directly at the lake and slightly higher up. However, visitor tips indicate that parking can fill up quickly, especially on warm weekends and during peak summer months. Arriving earlier in the day is recommended to secure a spot, as the lake remains relatively quiet even on Sundays compared to more crowded coastal areas.

Beyond summer, is Lac du Paty suitable for a winter visit or other seasonal activities?

In autumn, the surrounding forests provide beautiful colors for hiking. What should I wear for hiking around Lac du Paty, especially in autumn?

For autumn hiking, layers are key. Mornings can be cool, but temperatures often rise during the day. Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip are advisable for the varied terrain.
