Crossing the Vistula River in Topolno.
Voivodeship road no. 248 at this point is prepared for a ferry or pontoon crossing of the Vistula to Borówno on the right bank, where DW248 continues and connects with the DW550 road.
A river crossing has existed here since time immemorial, and certainly already in the early Middle Ages.
The crossing between Topolno and Borówno was used in September 1939 by the Wehrmacht.
