Santa Luzia is a tranquil fishing village not far from Tavira. It is known for its traditional squid and octopus fishing. There's a small harbor and colorful fishermen's houses to visit.
The town is nicknamed the "Capital of the Squid" (Capital do polvo). It's only fitting that there's a squid monument here.
