This section of the Trollheimen takes you beneath the summit slopes of the 1,308-metre (4,291 ft) Høghøa. On this high open ground, you've always got the chance of seeing reindeer moving across the landscape. Just north of here is the Minilla river, which has a year-round bridge to aid crossing.
