Road cycling

24/7 rideable public road literally dividing the city into North Beijing and South Beijing, with the Forbidden Palace and the Tiananmen Square at its core, it is the main axis of Beijing. For the most part the bike lane is as wide as two car lanes. In the evening hours around 7.30-9 pm local pro-, semipro cyclists train here, with occasional sprint runs reaching up to 45-50+ km/h.

Great ride around the city. This route has a lot of traffic lights and can get very busy, so be sure to go to early in the morning for safest and clearest time
