Nordic walking
In 1909, after a two-year hiatus, Otto Wernecke took over the mill. It was modernized by the Amme-Luther millwright company from Braunschweig. The waterwheel was replaced by a Francis turbine, type 1, system Amme, Giesecke & Konegen, with a power output of 22.5 horsepower at 110 revolutions per minute.[3]
At the south corner of the courtyard stands a brick silo built in 1923 in the New Objectivity style. It was designed by Alfred Bargum and Hugo Krausse. The silo, approximately 20 meters high, was built on a rectangular base. The facade is articulated with stucco pilasters.[4]
