The river park consists of interpretive panels in Italian describing the flora, fauna, and economic development of the Val Careta in the past. Several mills (in operation until around 1913) and the maintenance of two roads that connected Caldonazzo with Lavarone and Lavarone with the Vigolana plateau play a role here.
At the ruins of the Mulino Nuovo mill, there is a barbecue area with fire pits and benches. There is a good view of the Valimpach waterfall.
