The Braunau-Simbach power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the lower Inn, operated by Grenzkraftwerke GmbH (GKW). The owner of the power plant is the Österreichisch-Bayerische Kraftwerke AG (ÖBK). The power plant is located in the municipality of Kirchdorf (Lower Bavaria) and Braunau am Inn (Upper Austria). It is the first barrage on the lower Inn after the Salzach flows into the Inn.
