Ballıca Cave, located in the Pazar district, is believed to have been formed about 3 million years ago. In this regard, it is considered one of the oldest caves in Anatolia. The cave is located at a fairly high location and after it was opened to tourism, special walking paths and lighting were installed. The cave has a total height of 95 meters and contains many impressive stalagmites and onion-shaped dripstones. Since 1996, Ballıca Cave has been open to visitors and is known for its pipistrelle bats. There are a total of 8 different sections in the cave. The Hall of Bats, the Hall of the Pool and the Fossil Hall are just a few of them. Another name for Ballıca Cave is İndere Cave.
