William Forbes McLeod Hawkins (1872-1960) was an area pioneer whose original purchase of land in southeast Edmonton has remained in the Hawkins family for five generations. He was also a member of the East Edmonton District School Board for 22 years. Hawkins Park is in the Weinlos neighbourhood and has an area of 0.41 ha.
