The gardens surrounding Eberbach Monastery, a former Cistercian abbey near Eltville am Rhein, cover 7.5 hectares.
🍇The monastery, famous for its winegrowing, was one of the oldest and most important Cistercian monasteries in Germany. Located in the Rhine-Taunus Nature Park, the complex, with its Romanesque and early Gothic buildings, is one of the most important artistic monuments in Europe⛪️.
The gardens were designed at the beginning of the 18th century.
