The Willinger Hochheideturm has been the highest walk-in lookout point in north-west Germany since 2002. Higher than on the observation deck (at 875 meters), you will not find anywhere in the region.

If you still have enough strength in your legs, you will reach the glazed observation deck over 241 steps. But there is also a lift available and you can so comfortably enjoy the great view from up there.

Speaking of strength - you can refuel in the Ettelsberg hut next door. The hut keeper Siggi always ensures a good mood with his whistle trumpet or the alphorn and the burning "hut spirit" and the pea soup in the glass have reached a true cult status.

The Ettelsberg is really great because there is a lot on offer. Endless nature and views. Gastro and of course the trails that have something to offer for everyone, from beginners to hardcore riders. It was my first visit and I really liked the bike park.
