Mézières sur Ponthouin: 1st French commune liberated after fighting by General Leclerc's 2nd Armored Division. The tank is named after the 5 armored vehicles lost during the battle of August 10, 1944. The tank on display is a Sherman M4A1(76)W HVSS that is missing its muzzle brake.
