The Mount Washington Hotel, now the Omni Mount Washington Resort, is a grand Renaissance Revival landmark nestled in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. Opened in 1902 by coal magnate Joseph Stickney, it was constructed by 250 Italian artisans and quickly became a world-famous, luxurious retreat. In 1944, it hosted the Bretton Woods Conference, establishing the IMF and World Bank. Today, the resort offers year-round amenities including skiing, golf, a spa, and fine dining, all set against the stunning backdrop of the White Mountains. It remains one of New England’s most iconic and historically significant hotels.
